Hope in the Storm

November 25, 2024

The clock strikes, a new year unfolds,
Yet shadows linger, stories untold.
The winds of change, both sharp and raw,
Blow whispers of fear that test what we saw.

A world warming, oceans rise,
Dreams of green beneath ashen skies.
And the halls of power, loud and unsure,
Echo the turmoil we’ve struggled to endure.

The Worry That Binds Us

It is fear that ties the mind in knots,
A thread woven through present thoughts.
What will come, who will lead,
What is sown by hands of greed?

But within this chaos, seeds still sleep,
Dreams unbroken, roots running deep.
In the soil of hope, they wait to grow,
Fed by the courage we choose to show.

The Power of Feeling

Rise above the storm, let kindness steer,
Turn worry to wisdom, transform your fear.
For anger burns, but love can build,
A world where hearts are calm yet thrilled.

Remember: one spark ignites a flame,
A single voice can shift the frame.
In every hand, the power to give,
In every soul, the will to live.

A Call to 2025

So let us not look to leaders alone,
The power to heal is ours to own.
When the earth shakes and doubts take hold,
Be the warmth in a world so cold.

Plant a tree, speak with care,
Lift your voice for the truths you dare.
For every kindness ripples wide,
Turning tides, stemming divides.

The Path Ahead

Though storms may darken the coming year,
We rise with hope, casting out fear.
For the future is not what the world has done,
But the light we carry, each and every one.

So walk forward, let love unfold,
Face 2025 with a heart made bold.
The worry will pass; the moment is clear:
Together, we are the change we hold dear.
